
Some of you might know Chris Shea’s artwork from the COVID lockdown, when he painted a small boy watering a rainbow on many local buildings (the one below can still be seen on the facade of Little Bay, South End). The money paid by the recipients raised over £30,000 for NHS charities.
Last Saturday, Chris painted the southern part of the wall leading up to East Croydon station, combining local wild flowers with images of station staff. His work was funded by grants from Govia Thameslink and Kew gardens.
