Personal information held by ECCO
Information held about people includes
- name
- address
- telephone number
- email address
- how contact was first made with them
Not all this information is held about each person. No information is held about people aged under 18.

Information is gathered
- when the people attend events organised by ECCO, on paper contact sheets
- from emails sent to ECCO
How we hold and use personal information
We add the information to a digital document. It is used in accordance with the aims of the ECCO constitution to contact people
- informing them about events and meetings that ECCO arrange
- distributing papers to them relating to ECCO meetings
- asking them about their opinions on local matters

We do not share personal information with any other organisations. However, WordPress, Facebook and Twitter also hold databases of people who subscribe directly to our posts. They have their own privacy policies.
How we secure personal information
Information on paper is secured in a lockable metal file in the home of an ECCO steering group member.
The digital document is password protected and held on the personal computers of two ECCO steering group members. Both computers are password protected and have up-to-date anti-virus software.
How long we keep personal information for
We keep personal information up-to-date by asking people if they want to change it or be removed from the list every time we send out an email.
Should ECCO be wound up, we will delete the information within one month.

You can contact us on mail@eastcroydon.org. If you do so, you will receive a reply within a month.
How to ask us to delete your information
You can contact us on mail@eastcroydon.org. If you do so, you will receive a reply within a month. Your information will be
- erased from our paper copies
- deleted from our digital document
Only your name and the date of the deletion will be retained.
How to complain about how we used this information
