Our next volunteer day will be on Sunday 14th April between 2pm and 5pm. We will meet up in the Community Garden.
There is lot to be done, due to weather conditions resulting in 3 previous days being cancelled.
The Community Garden needs a lot of work, We are into Spring and the beds are not ready for planting.
Apple trees are starting bloom so we need to give them some attention too.
Suggested Tasks:
1. Weed Raised Beds, (plant vegetables).
2. Weed Wildflower beds, (seed weeded beds).
3. Clear grass and undergrowth around Orchard trees.
4. Litter picking.
5. Tidying the School Exit Triangle.
6. Weeding and tidying the Boggy/Honeysuckle area.
Now we have lighter evenings we have started our Thursday Night Garden sessions in the Community Garden between 6pm and 7pm.

But – this is a bit of a problem for me – I am getting plagued by “Next door Neighbour” emails which sound intriguing, but when I attempt to “read on” I am told I MUST join them. Well, I don’t want to join them. I loathe being coerced in this way. I can’t get rid of them. Is anyone else as annoyed as me?
