Croydon Neighbourhood Watch is planning its first ever Crime Prevention Day in partnership with Croydon Met Police. Many residents are concerned about seemingly growing crime in our town centres but also in normally quiet, residential roads. They are concerned about drug dealing, burglary, cyber crime, scams and knife crime, amongst other things. Croydon Police will speak to residents about crime prevention and their latest operations.
Speakers include
- Detective Superintendent Neil Matthews, Croydon MPS
- Donna Murray Turner, Chair of Croydon’s Safer Neighbourhoods Board
- Hamida Ali, Cabinet Member Safer Croydon and Communities.
All Croydon residents are welcome. We simply ask that they register in advance for the event with the Croydon Neighbourhood Watch office by emailing nhw@cbnwa.com Tea and coffee and a full buffet lunch will be provided (there will be a small charge of £10 to defray these costs).
