On 27 June, at a meeting of Addiscombe residents’ associations and ward councillors, it was agreed that Croydon Council should put forward a proposal to introduce northbound one-way traffic in Elgin Road, Havelock Road and Outram Road.

Croydon Council intends to consult local residents on this proposal in the autumn. If there is a favourable response, the matter will be discussed at the Traffic Management Advisory Committee.  If agreed, this scheme will be added to the  Local Implementation Plan programme for introduction in the financial year 2020-21.
