Just a few days left to help stop our open spaces from being built on

The government has stipulated that over 40,000 new dwellings must be built in Croydon. None of the local green spaces in Croydon has been designated for protection against development and this means we could lose them. Little Road Playground (pictured) is the only such space in the ECCO area.

Croydon Council has published an online survey to gather evidence that people value their local green spaces.  It only takes a few minutes to complete it.

You can submit your views on any of the green spaces in Croydon, not just the ones nearest your home.  There is a second survey for suggesting local green spaces that do not appear on the list.

The closing date for the survey is midnight, Monday 22 July 2019.
