On 23 April,  15 Goodgym volunteers joined with redoubtable local residents Ann Douthwaite and Mike Griffiths (and me) to pick litter and remove brambles,  ivy and weeds from the planted areas of The Boulevard.  23 orange bags were filled.    Bluebells and attractive shrubs are now visible in the beds.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Anne McMillan,  long-standing resident of Addiscombe Road and a lady who was always prepared to roll up her sleeves in order to keep The Boulevard in order.   Many condolences to her husband,  Stan.

Goodgym will be returning in June on a date to be announced.   It would be lovely to see a few more residents assisting Goodgym with their endeavours on the next occasion.
