A talk by Eleanor Redshaw – In my Grandmother’s Footsteps.
“I am named after my Grandmother, Eleanor Higginson, who was born in the East End of London and I knew her well. She protested in London, was arrested, went to Holloway Prison, did the Hunger Strike, was forcibly fed and was let out under ‘The Cat & Mouse Act’. Like her, I have been on marches and give talks about the Suffragette Campaign.”
