Transport for London are planning to upgrade the traffic lights on Addiscombe Road at the junction with Chepstow Road, Radcliffe Road and Clyde Road.
Work will take place from 08:00 to 17:00 and from 20:00 to 05:00, Mondays to Fridays, and from 08:00 to 13:00 on Saturdays, between Monday 26 February and Thursday 29 March. During the whole of this period, there will be no vehicle access
- from Clyde Road to Addiscombe Road
- from Radcliffe Road onto Chepstow Road
They will also need to temporarily close the westbound lane to traffic on Addiscombe Road for short durations during this period between 10:00-15:30 and 20:00-05:00.
Trams will operate as normal in both directions To minimise disturbance, they plan to complete their noisiest works by midnight, however some works may be required between the hours of 01:00 and 04:00 while trams are not running.
Bus routes 119, 194, 198 and 466 will be temporarily diverted. Visit tfl.gov.uk/bus/status or follow @TfLBusAlerts on Twitter for live updates.
There will be some temporary changes to the road network and diversion routes will be signposted. Visit tfl.gov.uk/trafficnews or follow @TfLTrafficNews on Twitter for live road travel updates.
