The generous volunteers of Goodgym pay their final visit to The Boulevard on 12 September.
They will arrive at about 7.15 pm and typically put in hour’s hard shift removing litter, weeds and overgrown holly and ivy from the planted areas.
The meeting point will be the planted areas at the junction of Blake Road and Addiscombe Road.
ECCO members and friends are respectfully invited to assist in Goodgym’s endeavours to assist our community. Please come and join them.
Please bring loppers/shears if you have them. If you do not, please still come – spare loppers and shears will be available.

Is anyone as concerned about the use of glyphosate, the deadly weedkiller that drifts into people’s gardens and is a real hazard? I should have thought this was of equal if not more concern than the regular scarifying of The Boulevard. In my opinion The Boulevard looks quite nice as it is. It looks bald and barren after the weedtamers’ visits!Just an observation. Miriam Heyburn
