On Sunday, 11 June a passerby was injured when a very large branch fell from a tree on Addiscombe Road.  Thanks to prompt assistance from local residents and some British Transport Police, the man was quickly taken to hospital.  Although he had to wear a neck brace for a week, he has now made a full recovery.

The tree was cut down and the branch removed later that day.  The remaining trees in along Addiscombe Road are said to be in good condition.
