Bridget Snaith is working on a project looking at how to help Croydon’s residents access all the potential health & wellbeing benefits offered by parks. At the same time, the project will explore how new revenue streams and voluntary sector activity can support sustainable park maintenance in the context of population growth, and diminishing public sector resources in the Borough. It will focus on Park Hill, Ashburton, Lloyd Park, Norbury, South Norwood Lake and Happy Valley
You can email your views to Bridget before any design work starts (programmed for end June continuing into July 2017). Or attend an engagement event at Ashburton Park (11am – 3pm 25th June), Park Hill (11am-3pm 2nd July) or Lloyd Park (9th July).
Is the “engagement” in the open air in the park itself? I can’t find anything on the Council’s website. Thanks. I’ll email the contact too.
