Tunstall and Addiscombe Court Road Residents Association have petitioned Croydon Council about the extra traffic displaced onto these streets after Lebanon Road was made one-way. This petition was discussed at the Traffic Management Advisory Committee on 8th February.

In the short term,  the Committee agreed to consult residents in the area from Colson Road to Ashburton Road on whether Addiscombe Court Road and/or Canning Road should be made no entry from Addiscombe Road. The consultation is most likely to take place during April and May and the results considered at the Traffic Management Advisory Committee on Wednesday 5 July 2017 6:30pm in Room F10, the Town Hall, Katharine Street.

The junctions at each end of the Cherry Orchard Road were also identified as major issues. These are the responsibility of Transport for London. The Committee was asked to liaise with them to consider longer term improvements and the need for more monitoring of traffic on our residential roads.
