The Builders Arms Christmas Market and Charity Race night!

Here at the Builders Arms, we believe charity might begin at home, but it can also come from the pub! So that is why on Thursday the 10th of December, we are hosting another charity race night.

Our friends from the charity Dreams Come True are coming down to provide the race footage and organise the betting, and we would like to make it an extra special evening by having some of our friends from the local community come down and set up stall in our bar!

After the success of the ECCO East Croydon Quiz Night, we thought it would be nice to invite our new friends back to set up stall in The Builders Arms on our charity night and raise some more funds for the Community Organisation. We know how important community representation is, and would be delighted if ECCO can come and reach to the pub as a whole, and as well as funds, raise more awareness of what the Organisation does, and who is represented.

The idea is to have various charity and community organisations each have their own table to sell whichever products they wish to our customers. The proceeds will go directly to the charity or organisation each stall represents, and the money made from the race night itself will also go directly to Dreams Come True

We are also aiming to use this night as our Christmas Event of the year, so we are encouraging the stalls to have a Christmas theme to them, and we will of course also be decorating the pub in such a manner!

We believe we should have a nice variety on offer, with invites going to a wide range of possible stall holders; the brewery will be coming to host a Fullers stall, our manager is very passionate about making jewellery and will have her own stall to sell the delightful pieces she’s made. Along with yourself and a few others, we hope to make this a great evening to enjoy the build up to Christmas, and have a fun-filled, charitable night.

If you would like to be a part of this race night with your stall, please let us know as soon as possible, so we can reserve you a table and advertise your participation.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact either myself John, Matt or Debi at the pub, and we will be happy to help.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

John Clay,

Christmas Co-ordinator, Builders Arms.
