Meeting for people that are interested in starting a Play Street

Dear Residents

Communities across Croydon are being urged to join a growing council-backed scheme that closes roads to through traffic, usually for a couple of hours once a month, so children can play safely.

If you would like more information on Play Streets visit: www.croydon.gov.uk/healthsocial/families/ccfpartnership/playstreets.

We are holding a meeting for people that are interested in starting a Play Street in their road at Gingerbread Corner, Grenaby Avenue, Croydon, CR0 2EG on Thursday, 29 October from 6:45pm to 8pm. We will be explaining what you need to do to start a Play Street in your road and will also have people who are already holding Play Streets in Croydon there to share their experiences. Alternatively, we are happy to attend one of your residents meetings to tell you about Play Streets in Croydon.

If you would like to attend the meeting, want someone to come to one of your meetings or would just like more information about Play Streets please contact us at cfp@croydon.gov.uk or on 20 8726 6000 (Ex 63371).
