Join Lucy James, Gardening Services Manager at The Wilderness for an evening tour of the garden. Rev Wilks’s rhododendrons and azaleas will be a highlight as well as seasonal displays in the naturally occurring bog garden. Lucy will talk about the history of the garden, Wilks’s legacy, ongoing development, and relevance today. Light refreshments will be provided afterwards. The garden has a fully accessible circular path and woodland paths laid to woodchip, with plenty of seating, a wheelchair available and a fully accessible W.C.
