Paul Nihill won a silver medal in the 1964 Tokyo Olympics for the 50km walk.  Tomorrow he is being honoured by the naming of a new road, Nihill Place, off Grant Road,  behind The Alma Tavern.  This is just around the corner from his former home at 109a Lower Addiscombe Road.  The naming ceremony will take place at 10.30am on Friday, 19 August and Paul is expected to be there.
