Addiscombe Ward – Croydon Town Centre Public Space Protection Order survey

Croydon Council is planning a Public Space Protection Order for the town centre, which include part of the ECCO area. Here is the link www.croydon.gov.uk/pspo.  The closing date is 19 August.

A Public Space Protection Order is designed to stop individuals or groups committing antisocial behaviour in a public space. The PSPO sets out specific restrictions and requirements, targeting certain behaviours by certain groups at certain times. PSPOs can be enforced by police officers, police community support officers and council officers. Fixed penalty notices of £80 can be issued on the spot. A breach is a criminal offence.

Addiscombe Ward – Croydon Town Centre Public Space Protection Order survey is attached to this post (pdf file).
