Between March 2025 and March 2026, the ECCO area gained 13 new businesses, but lost 30. Many of those that left were located in offices in One Croydon, which is scheduled for redevelopment into flats. Three businesses left Simpson House, which is now largely occupied by the Fairfield School of Business. There has been an overall increase in the occupancy of the Mosaic East office blocks following its recent refurbishment and the welcome addition of its Urban Baristas cafe.

Elsewhere, Flavour Boss has returned to its refurbished premises on Lower Addiscombe Road. With a couple of exceptions, where change has taken place, shop and restaurant premises have been reoccupied by similar businesses. Ashva restaurant has replaced Kongunadu on Cherry Orchard Road. Despite building up a good reputation in a short space of time, it has remained closed since Christmas due to maintenance problems. Next door, the Iva supermarket has been replaced by the Little Dessert Shop, which appears to be about to open.
