Earlier this year, a new developer bought the City Link House site at 4 Addiscombe Road. They will be applying to Croydon Council to make some changes to the existing planning permission. East Croydon Community Organisation 
I think this looks like over development along the eastern edge of the Central Croydon area earmarked for high-rise development, meaning that Addiscombe West is increasingly faced with a western high rise ‘wall’. There is still the vacant Croydon Park Hotel site awaiting redevelopment – a previous plan incorporating a high rise tower having been opposed by local residents.
