Find out about proposed changes to the planned replacement of City Link House online at 6pm Tuesday, 23 or Thursday, 25 September #croydon

Earlier this year, a new developer bought the City Link House site at 4 Addiscombe Road. They will be applying to Croydon Council to make some changes to the existing planning permission. These include an additional 20 dwelling units. More information about the project can be found here https://citylinkhouseconsultation.co.uk

Before submitting the application, they will be hosting two online webinar sessions where you can hear more from the project team

  • Tuesday 23rd September 2025, 6pm – 7pm
  • Thursday 25th September 2025, 6pm – 7pm

If you would like to attend one of these sessions, please get in touch with their team via email at CityLinkHouse@KandaConsulting.co.uk.

An artist’s impression of the proposed building can be found below. It will be taller than the adjacent One Croydon. Croydon Council refused planning permission, but their decision was overturned by the previous government https://eastcroydon.org.uk/2023/05/17/government-dismisses-councils-refusal-of-planning-permission-for-28-storey-replacement-of-city-link-house-addiscombe-road-yourcroydon/

  1. I think this looks like over development along the eastern edge of the Central Croydon area earmarked for high-rise development, meaning that Addiscombe West is increasingly faced with a western high rise ‘wall’. There is still the vacant Croydon Park Hotel site awaiting redevelopment – a previous plan incorporating a high rise tower having been opposed by local residents.
