Have your say about the renewal of the Public Space Protection Order in Croydon town centre before 11.59pm on Sunday, 27 July #croydon

The current Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) for the town centre is due to expire in November 2025. The PSPO gives the police extra powers to tackle anti-social behaviours, such as street drinking, urinating in public and noise. Anyone who refuses to stop such activities in the area can be arrested or fined.

The renewal of the proposal includes extending the PSPO to include Cherry Orchard Rd and the roads to the west of it, an area that lies within the ECCO area.

Complete the survey to record your personal experiences of antisocial behaviour in central Croydon, as well as your views on how to tackle it, using this link  https://www.getinvolved.croydon.gov.uk/towncentre-pspo2025

The proposal and feedback from the consultation will go to Croydon Cabinet for a decision on the renewal of the PSPO in September 2025.
