Croydon Community Energy (CCE) is a community organisation made up of local residents who want to help save the planet while cutting local energy bills. They plan to achieve this by creating community-owned solar projects that promote local renewable energy in Croydon.

Following an established model, they aim to install 711 solar panels and provide power to three community buildings, saving them many thousands of pounds to reinvest in their services and reducing carbon emissions by approximately 69.2 metric tonnes of CO₂ annually—equivalent to taking 15 cars off the road or planting 1,153 trees. One of these buildings is the Archbishop Tenison School in Selborne Road.
