The Croydon Town Centre Strategy covers a much bigger area than the “North End Quarter” redevelopment https://eastcroydon.org.uk/2024/11/13/have-your-say-about-the-redevelopment-of-centrale-whitgift-shopping-centres-until-thursday-21-november-at-croydon-urban-rooms-next-to-wh-smith-ground-floor-whitgift-centre-yourcroydon-cent/. It even covers part of the ECCO area – the station, a few office blocks and the new apartments on Cherry Orchard Road & Cross Road.
The strategy is part funded by the Mayor of London’s Office, with match funding from Croydon Council https://www.london.gov.uk/programmes-strategies/shaping-local-places/regeneration-project-croydon-town-centre.
The display at Croydon Urban Rooms is intended to help identify the next steps and their website includes a couple of relevant papers under “Resources” https://www.croydonurbanroom.com/whats-on/town-centre-regeneration-strategy. One of them includes the messages received in the engagement so far.
