A group of Croydon-based organisations (including Stanley Arts) are creating a bid to Arts Council England for funding for a Creative People and Places programme in the borough. This programme could include any art form (musicians, dancers, circus performers, actors, singers, etc) and any forms of cultural activity (food, festivals, parades, book clubs, community craft activities, fashion, visual arts etc).

A key focus of the bid is that they ensure local people lead decision-making for a three-year programme of arts and culture for our area, and how any money should be spent.
