April update from Addiscombe West Safer Neighbourhood Team @MPSAddiscombe

Addiscombe West Safer Neighbourhood Team have been visiting locations that have been highlighted as repeatedly suffering from antisocial behaviour. Partnership work with the council and residents has ensured that they have been made more secure. Officers have also worked with homeless charities to assist a number of homeless people who were highlighted as being involved in antisocial incidents at these locations.

Officers have made a visit to Croydon Mencap to provide advice to young people regarding safety and crime prevention. They have also attended local primary schools, speaking with children about safety and awareness

The team will be working with local businesses to improve knowledge and awareness of cyber related crimes. It will also be carrying out a catalytic converter marking event which will be advertised on https://www.met.police.uk/area/your-area/met/croydon/addiscombe-west/about-us/ and X (formerly Twitter) @MPSAddiscombe

Due to the Metropolitan Police Service using a new New IT system, there could be delays in seeing updates on the website in the near future.
