The lights are now on at the new pedestrian crossing that will lead to the footbridge across the railway lines. The barrier to the south side of the bridge has also been removed, hopefully indicating that pedestrians will soon be able to cross over to Dingwall Road.

However, the barrier to the north side of the bridge has not yet been removed and it remains to be seen whether it will be possible to access the station platforms from the Cherry Orchard Road side of the bridge.
