The Sandilands Club has an excellent bar, complete with real ale. As you arrive members of the choir will welcome you and talk about which section of the choir might suit you best.

They’ll start by singing some well-known songs together in unison, for which they will provide the words and music. They’ll then all learn a short new piece to show how they learn to sing in harmony.

After the choir has demonstrated a few songs from its varied repertoire, they’ll explain how newcomers can join and their steps to singing in their first concert, probably as early as 9 December. 

They’ll finish the evening with a drink in the bar, where you can see and join in their vibrant social side with some informal après singing.  

They guarantee a smooth entry into the choir, with assistance all round for those who require it.  Ours is an informal choir, with no need to read music, and no formal audition.
