ECCO have asked Croydon Council to replace the street trees that have died, but they are waiting to hear whether they have been successful in applying for a grant to do so. We cannot be certain any new trees will be planted .

Please water the young street trees near your house if you can. They are the ones that are still supported by two poles on either side. There is usually a black plastic tube near them which you can use to deliver water direct to their roots. You can use bath, shower and washing up water.
