Investigative work is planned on Croydon Flyover and nearby roads to understand how best it can be maintained in the years to come. This will include looking at the quality of the road surface, parapets and bearings and how the flyover can be waterproofed. It will take place from Monday 20 February to Thursday 30 March 2023 between 22:00 and 05:00 each night.

The work will include

• single and full lane closures at various times.
• temporary traffic signals at the junction of Sheldon Street and Whitgift Street with Wandle Road.
• some temporary pavement closures on the High Street, where it runs beneath the flyover.
