Shadow returned early this morning after being missing for over 5 weeks. He is skin and bones and has a deep wound on his chest that has somewhat healed over.

Postscript:  Shadow’s people later reported on the Next-door website “He is much better now thanks, although still very weak. He was at the vets yesterday so they gave him some antibiotics and took blood for tests. The vet couldn’t determine what caused the wound on his chest but it’s essentially a deep circular wound, he’s either been shot with an air gun or fell of a tree and had a branch go deep into his chest.”
