Croydon Council are proposing to introduce emission-based charges for resident and business parking permits, plus a diesel surcharge, to all controlled parking permit zones within the borough.  The aim is to improve air quality.

If introduced, the emission-based charges will be launched in two stages:

• Residents’ permits – October 2019
• Business and other permits – April 2020
