Building work has started at The Leslie Arms to improve the fire safety of the building.
Currently, the upper stories are divided into flats, though the ground floor and basement are empty. They could be refurbished and brought back into community use if funds could be secured. For example, if the nearby roundabout system was reconfigured to create more pavement space, a bid could be made to the Transport for London Liveable Neighborhood Programme.
Bringing this site back into use will help regenerate our neighbourhood. If you would like to be involved, as an individual, business or voluntary organisation, please contact your local councillors at addiscombe.west@croydonlabour.org.uk. If there is sufficient interest, they will arrange a meeting to discuss how to make this work
I am interested in this idea.

Our ward councillors are likely to arrange a community meeting about this in September. You can contact them on addiscombe.west@croydonlabour.org.uk
