Croydon Council have planted some new street trees in East Croydon recently, but there are still some tree pits that are empty.  If there is one near your house, and you would like it filled, email james.canneaux@croydon.gov.uk. Click here for more information on the scheme.

If you already have a new street tree near you and have the time, please water it regularly through its black tube.  Young trees need lots of water in their first two years and they might not receive enough from rainfall even in winter.
