Queens Gardens & Taberner House Development Exhibition Event (Jan 19th 2017)

This is the body of an email received from Kaizen about the Queens Gardens proposals consultation. If you would like to know more please either visit the event shown below, fill in the on-line survey or email your thoughts to mail@eastcroydon.org.uk.

*invite to a special public event we are holding
on Thursday 19th January 2017 where we will be sharing the designs for
new buildings. *

As one of my team members may have explained, the development is being led
by HUB residential, an award-winning developer that specialises in building
real homes for real people in London. HUB have commissioned Kaizen to
engage local people who live, work and visit the area to help them better
understand community needs, aspirations and desires for the development. An
important element of the plans for the Taberner House site are to make
significant improvements to Queen’s Gardens.

*We would love to hear your views on the proposed designs at our event on
19th January. This will also be an opportunity for you to meet the
development team including HUB and the architects, and to ask any questions
you may have. *

The details are as follows:

*Date: Thursday January 19th 2017*

*Time: 6pm to 8.30pm*

*Location: Friends Meeting House, 60 Park Lane, CRO 1JE*

If you know others who might be interested in seeing the designs and giving
their views, please do share details of the event with your network as we’d
like as many people as possible to find out about it and to come if they
want to know more about what is being proposed for this very important site.

It would be useful to know the numbers of people attending, so if you are
planning to join us on the 19th January could you fill in this form

like to offer your opinions, there are lots of other ways to give your

  1. Addiscombe Children’s Choir is a new choir for children aged 7 to 11. I live on Lebanon Road and now that I have a little boy I was keen to start something in my local community.

I run fun and energetic sessions where children can improve their voice, learn how to sing in a choir and use their whole bodies to explore musical concepts.

We meet Wednesdays in term time 4-5pm at St. Mildred’s, Bingham Road, CR0 7EB. First rehearsal FREE!

Visit http://www.addiscombechildrenschoir.com or call me on 07814 683045.
