The Council’s Strategic Transport Team workshop is on the development of the Borough’s Third Local Implementation Plan (LIP3), local transport plan for the borough, which will outline the transport objectives and projects it intends to deliver that will meet the Mayor of London’s transport outcomes, in return for funding from Transport for London (TfL) each year. The draft document will to be submitted to TfL for public consultation in early November with the final document due to be approved by the Mayor of London in March 2019.

These meetings were originally aimed at Croydon Mobility Forum representatives, to obtain insight from an equalities perspective. The uptake wasn’t as high as anticipated meaning there was capacity for additional attendees at the venue.  This is why so little notice was given.

  1. Very short notice. Can’t call this a public consultation if we didn’t have sufficient and wide-spread notice of this.

    • A link to the survey was included in the Council’s Your Croydon Newsletter last Friday. It would have been good to have been informed about it then, if not before!

    • Have just heard back from Croydon Council. These meetings were originally aimed at Croydon Mobility Forum representatives, to obtain insight from an equalities perspective.
